Infrastructure Asset Management Alberta is hosting a free virtual information session on July 15 for municipalities to learn more about MAMP direct-funding and cohort opportunities
Infrastructure Asset Management Alberta (IAMA) is hosting a free virtual information session for municipalities to learn more about how to access and make the most of asset management capacity-building opportunities available through the FCM’s Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP). The session will focus on two opportunities:
- Capacity-building cohorts offered jointly by RMA, AUMA, and IAMA (with financial support from MAMP)
- Direct funding grants to undertake a specific asset management project
The virtual information session will be led by IAMA and feature the following speakers:
- Aymone Agossou, Manager, Funding for the FCM MAMP Program
- Overview of MAMP’s direct funding grants for municipalities
- Lam Huynh, IAMA representative on the RMA / AUMA / IAMA asset management cohort planning team
- Overview of the asset management capacity-building cohorts being delivered by RMA, AUMA, and IAMA through funding from the MAMP program
The information session will include details on the purpose and outcomes of each opportunity, as well as timelines, application details, and other information.
Following the presentation, IAMA representatives will lead an interactive Q&A and discussion session during which participants can discuss their asset management questions, as well as strategies related to how each opportunity can be used to support local asset management progress.
