Join Circular Materials and the Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA) for a webinar on the full implementation of extended producer responsibility (EPR) for residential recycling in rural Alberta. The session will take place on September 17 from 12:00 to 1:00pm. Registration is now open.
Designed for municipal elected officials within rural municipalities, this session will provide a brief overview of EPR for Packaging, Paper and Single Use Products, an update on implementation and the ongoing rollout across Alberta, and information municipalities should know as the province moves forward with the new recycling system.
The presentation will be followed by an opportunity for participants to ask questions and discuss EPR implementation with representatives from Circular Materials and ARMA. This will provide an opportunity for RMA members to ask questions as EPR in Alberta enters Phase 2, providing access for all municipalities not yet included, on October 1, 2026.
