IAMA February Asset Management Workshop and AGM

Another opportunity to learn, share, and connect with Alberta’s asset management community.

On February 25, 2026, Infrastructure Asset Management Alberta (IAMA) is hosting their 2026 February Asset Management Workshop and annual general meeting at the iHotel & Conference Centre in Red Deer.

Over the past several years, RMA has collaborated with IAMA to deliver asset management training, tools, and resources that help rural municipalities plan for the future. IAMA’s inperson asset management workshops, held a few times each year, are an excellent opportunity for members to build on their asset management foundations and connect with asset managers and peers.

Topics on the agenda for the February IAMA workshop include:

  • Updates on the CRIS Cohort, Asset Management Toolkit, and Asset Management Handbook
  • Presentations on climate resilience, wildfire, and more
  • IAMA Panel Discussion

During the AGM, IAMA members will come together to review key updates from the Chair and elect the Board of Directors for 2026. IAMA members in good standing that are interested in joining the Board for 2026 can review the nomination application here.

Given the widening infrastructure deficit facing rural municipalities, RMA encourages members to take part in this opportunity to expand their asset management knowledge, network with asset management professionals, and exchange ideas.
