Engagement on Strengthening Non-Medical Supports for Older Adults in Alberta

Input from municipalities and community partners is requested to help shape provincial policy for supporting the non-medical needs of older adults in Alberta.

RMA is participating in a working group for a project through Healthy Aging Alberta that is co-creating a Policy Roadmap with Government of Alberta partners. To support this work, a survey has been released to gather feedback from individuals who support older adults within Alberta.

The following groups are invited to take part in this survey:

  • Community-based seniors-serving (CBSS) organizations
  • Government
  • Community partners in health, housing and education
  • Post-secondary institutions
  • Municipalities
  • Volunteers and individuals who support older adults.
  • Others who play a role in supporting older adults.

The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and will be accessible until June 15, 2026. All responses are anonymous and will remain confidential.
