The programs provide new educational opportunities for elected officials and municipal staff
Augustana Extended Education (AEE) has announced its upcoming roster of educational programs. These programs are offered by the University of Alberta through AEE and provide an opportunity to learn more about various topics that impact municipalities. The upcoming courses are:
- Online Certificate in Agriculture & Food Policy – Starts September 22
A new online and open enrolment program which explores key trends in the agriculture sector with a focus on research and policy innovation, as well as social, economic, and environmental impacts.
- Online Emergency Management Program Development – Starts September 28
Discover how you can mitigate risks and hazards to promote safe and resilient communities in this new online and open enrolment program. Gain essential insights into the creation, maintenance, and improvement of crisis management programs.
- Online Grant Writing Workshop – November 2021 and February 2022
Two deliveries available due to high demand! Join Dr. Lars Hallstrom, the recipient of over 100 research, knowledge mobilization, infrastructure, and collaborative grants, for this activity-based, online workshop.
- Certificate in Rural Municipal Leadership – Starts January 2022
