Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (EPA) has announced that the Ecosystem Services Grant Program is open for applications for the 2025-2026 period.
Applications opened on July 15, and will remain open until October 1, 2025. Completed applications can be submitted to Ecosystem Services Grant Program at esgp@gov.ab.ca.
The goal of the Ecosystem Services Grant Program is to provide program funding to municipalities, non-profit organizations, and non-governmental organizations to ensure that ecosystem services are maintained and provide benefits for Albertans. Ecosystem services refer to the physical, chemical, and biological benefits of healthy ecosystems that support economic activity, community health and wellbeing, and recreational opportunities, and include things such as healthy soil, clean water, wildlife habitat, and pollinator attraction.
