The University of Alberta has released Understanding Community Broadband: The Alberta Broadband Toolkit. The toolkit is intended to assist municipalities and community groups in Alberta in developing local broadband solutions.
The toolkit includes three sections:
- Learning about broadband
- Thinking about broadband
- Planning broadband
The intent of the toolkit is to provide municipalities with knowledge and actionable steps that will assist them in improving broadband access for their residents and businesses.
The toolkit was developed with funding assistance from Alberta Economic Development and Trade.
