Qualifications and Skills:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Systems Technology, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in asset management, infrastructure, engineering, or system-based technical environments
- Experience administering and optimizing asset management, work order management, or maintenance management systems
- Strong understanding of asset management principles, maintenance best practices, and asset lifecycle planning
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, solve problems, and develop practical solutions that improve business processes and system performance
- Proficiency with GIS applications, Microsoft 365 tools, and other asset, maintenance, or enterprise management systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, lead initiatives, and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience using asset and operational data to support decision-making, infrastructure planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
Conditions of Employment:
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s licence and submission of a 5-year Driver’s Abstract with less than 7 demerits
