The Supervisor, Transportation is responsible for directing and coordinating the daily activities of Transportation Operators, Labourers, and other resources to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a strong commitment to workplace safety, operational excellence, and effective team leadership.
In this role, the Supervisor will oversee summer maintenance of the County’s paved road network, including both contracted and internal services such as patching, pothole repair, crack sealing, and asphalt trail maintenance. The position is also responsible for managing the County’s Dust Suppression Program and shares oversight of winter operations, including snow and ice control, as well as sand and salt management.
