The Roads Maintenance Technologist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of municipal road maintenance and rehabilitation programs. Reporting to the Supervisor, this position ensures that surface treatment, gravel, asphalt, and concrete maintenance programs are efficiently delivered, technically sound, and cost-effective.
The Roads Maintenance Technologist provides technical and administrative support to long-range maintenance planning, asset condition tracking, annual work programming and prime contractor and consultant oversight. This position acts as a key liaison between municipal field staff, contractors, and management to ensure that municipal road networks remain safe, serviceable, and aligned with council-approved service levels.
