Reporting to the General Manager of Planning & Infrastructure, the Manager of Parks and Roads oversees the maintenance, operation, and enhancement of the Town’s roads, traffic systems, parks, green spaces, and trails. This role provides leadership to a dedicated team, ensures service excellence, and drives continuous improvement through long‑term planning, asset management, and operational innovation. The Manager will work closely with internal departments, regional partners, contractors, and the community to ensure high standards of safety, service quality, and environmental stewardship.

- Communicates clearly and confidently with staff, senior leadership, Council, regional partners, contractors, and the public.
- Possesses strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution abilities, especially in fast‑paced operational settings.
- Understands relevant legislation, bylaws, OHS requirements, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
