The Maintenance Manager under the direction of the Director of Field Services is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight, coordination, and continuous improvement of the Municipal District’s facilities, fleet, and asset maintenance programs. This position leads all planning and scheduling activities to ensure reliable, safe, and cost-effective service delivery across operational areas.
The successful candidate is a proven maintenance professional and strong communicator who brings hands-on technical knowledge, sound judgement, and the ability to build high-performing teams. They will act as a champion for the department—setting clear expectations, fostering accountability, and promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and collaboration.
This role requires a leader who can balance day-to-day operational demands with long-term asset management planning, ensuring equipment, infrastructure, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with internal departments and external partners to align priorities, resolve challenges, and support organizational goals.
Above all, this individual will drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, and strengthen the overall effectiveness and professionalism of the Field Services maintenance function.
