Want long weekends every week and to escape processes stuck in the last century? The Town of Diamond Valley is looking for a Legislative Services & Process Improvement Manager who enjoys cutting through complexity, leaning out workflows across the organization, and putting AI and modern tools to practical use where they measurably save time and improve outcomes.
Anchored in Legislative Services, this role has a clear mandate to review and simplify processes organization-wide. Following our 2023 amalgamation, we’re building cleaner systems — and you’ll drive practical improvements that reduce administrative drag, speed up decision-making, and make Council and the broader organization more effective.
What we offer
- True 4-day work week (Mon–Thu, 36.5 hours) — long weekends every week.
- $106K–$116K (Manager 1 band) + strong benefits including 9.3% employer / 3% employee RRSP contribution.
- Starting 4 weeks vacation + 3 weeks flex time for evening Council work.
- High-impact role with real scope to shape systems in a growing, post-amalgamation community — visible results, direct access to CAO and Council, and a culture that values getting things done over bureaucracy.
If you’re a pragmatic “get it done” manager who wants to build simpler, smarter legislative services while driving broader organizational efficiency — and you like the idea of long weekends every week — we’d like to hear from you.
Send your resume and a short cover letter (tell us why this mix of legislative work + organization-wide process improvement excites you) to HR@diamondvalley.town. Posting closes July 24, 2026.
