Key Responsibilities

The Town of Didsbury is seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to join our team as the Legislative Services Coordinator and Executive Assistant to CAO.   This position will serve as the primary executive support to the CAO while leading the coordination and management of municipal documents and legislative processes.

This opportunity is best suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a positive and outgoing personality. The candidate will have excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and the willingness to learn.

Requirements

Required

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in political science, policy administration, or an equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar position.
  • Commissioner of Oath appointment, or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Experience in policy and/or bylaw writing.
  • Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Clerk certificate or ability to obtain within one year.

 Desired

  • Experience in Municipal setting.
  • Completion or working toward NACLAA Level 1.
