Key Responsibilities

As our Director of Public Works & Infrastructure, you will report to the Chief Administrative Officer and lead the operational services and infrastructure systems ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance.

The Director will play a central role in planning and executing capital projects, managing departmental budgets, and supporting long-term infrastructure planning initiatives. We are looking for a collaborative leader who brings a high level of public relations expertise and a strong background in project management.

Requirements

WHAT THE TOWN OF DIDSBURY IS LOOKING

FOR IN A CANDIDATE:

Required

5+ years working experience in a municipal construction and/or engineering environment
4+ years’ experience in a management and/or leadership role
Experience overseeing infrastructure projects, operational planning, budgets, and regulatory compliance

Desired

Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or a P.Eng designation
Project Management and/or Facility Management certifications
Certification in Water and Waste Water II.
