Corporate Services Assistant

The MD of Fairview No. 136 invites applications for the position of Corporate Services Assistant.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Services and Finance this position will provide a high level of organizational support for the Health & Safety program and provide direction to the Joint Worksite Health and Safety Committee. Other risk management responsibilities include insurance, inspections, and asset management; and the position will assist with property tax and assessment administration.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Related courses and/or experience in health and safety or risk management
3 to 5 years business or municipal experience is preferred
Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (successful candidate must provide a clean driver’s abstract)
Well-developed Microsoft Office and computer skills.
Self-starter – ability and willingness to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

SALARY & BENEFITS:

The MD of Fairview No. 136 offers competitive wages (minimum grid wage $31.15 per hour, comprehensive benefit plan, pension plan and three weeks paid vacation per year).
