Certified training and experience in animal control including capturing, handling, transportation, care and impoundment of stray dogs and dog aggression investigation is required. Experience interpreting and enforcing municipal bylaws, municipal government act and general property concerns is an asset. This position requires someone who is able to communicate effectively and efficiently in order to solve various conflicts.
The commitment to work shifts, including evenings and weekends with minimal supervision is as well as a valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license with satisfactory driving history and a security clearance is required.
