The Job
The Town of Edson is seeking an Arena Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day operations at the Edson & District Leisure Centre. Reporting to the Recreation Manager, this position is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the arena facilities.
The Arena Supervisor oversees all facets of arena operations, including ice maintenance, facility scheduling, equipment care, and overall facility readiness. This role provides leadership to arena staff, ensures compliance with safety regulations and operational standards, and plays an active role in maintaining a positive experience for patrons, user groups, and the broader community. The position also contributes to planning, reporting, and emergency response efforts as required.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate has practical experience in arena operations and a strong understanding of ice maintenance, facility systems, and scheduling in a multi‑use recreation environment. You bring proven supervisory experience and are confident leading staff, coordinating daily tasks, and maintaining operational standards.
You are organized, safety‑focused, and committed to delivering high‑quality customer service. You take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well‑functioning facilities and understand the importance of teamwork, clear communication, and responsiveness in a public‑facing environment. Your ability to balance operational demands with staff leadership and service excellence makes you well‑suited for this role.

Compensation
The wage range for this position is $75,500 – $95,300.
