Parkland County has a temporary, full-time position available within the Budget & Financial Reporting Department for an Accounting Technician until approximately November 2019. Reporting to the Manager, Budget & Financial Reporting, this position is responsible for the budget preparation process; financial reporting and analysis; capital asset maintenance; grant management, accounts payable and purchase order management and other accounting related duties. In addition to comprehensive knowledge of public sector accounting standards, this position requires strong analytical abilities, along with good attention to detail and numerical accuracy skills.
