The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Statistics or a related field.
- PuMP certification and/or Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) are considered assets.
- Formal performance measurement and metrics analysis training would be considered an asset.
- A minimum of three (3) years of related experience in performance measurement and strategic planning analytics and application.
- Knowledge and technical experience working within strategy and operations of municipal government, including public policies and procedures to support efficient service delivery.
- Exceptional data analysis, research and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, data visualization tools (such as PowerBI or Tableau) and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new programs.
Requirements:
- Ability to primarily work in-person at Parkland County Centre – 53109A HWY 779, Parkland County, AB.
- A valid class 5 driver’s license and current, satisfactory driver’s abstract provided upon hire.
- A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required upon hire, excluding candidates under the age of 18 and current Parkland County employees.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
