The successful candidate will possess a post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related field as well as a Workplace Investigations Certificate. A CPHR Designation and experience in a public sector or unionized environment are considered assets. A minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience across multiple disciplines, including organizational design, job design and evaluation, talent management, and employee relations, with at least two years of labour relations experience, is essential. Experience participating in collective bargaining is considered an asset. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of employment legislation, collective agreements, HR best practices, and employee and labour relations, with demonstrated skills in workplace investigations, job evaluation, conflict resolution, and relationship building. The ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, influence change, and manage multiple priorities is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint, as well as ERP/HCM systems, is required.
Hours of Work: 37.5 per week; Monday to Friday
