As a Utility Engineer, you will oversee utility coordination activities from planning through construction, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with departmental standards. You will act as the key liaison between project teams, consultants, contractors, utility companies, and regulatory stakeholders to identify, assess, and resolve utility conflicts that may impact project delivery.

  • Lead utility coordination for highway and bridge infrastructure projects.
  • Manage relationships with utility owners, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts between transportation infrastructure and existing utility networks.
  • Oversee utility investigations, relocation planning, agreements, and documentation to support successful project delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications:

University degree in Civil Engineering, Applied Science, Geoscience, or a related field.

Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in utility coordination, transportation infrastructure, engineering, or related fields.
