- Valid Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Journeyman Certificate.
- Valid Automotive Service Technician (AST) Journeyman Certificate.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset).
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, fleet maintenance practices, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with municipal operations and fleet management practices is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 23 kilograms (50 lbs).
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7: 30 AM – 4:30 PM. Willingness to participate in on-call duties and after-hours work when required.
