Who you are?
You are an analytical and organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and confidentiality are paramount. You bring:
- A Diploma in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A LP Payroll Certification from the National Payroll Institute.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and provincial tax laws, payroll processing, and Alberta Employment Standards.
- Strong technical proficiency in HRIS platforms; experience with Workday is considered a significant asset.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll or tax information clearly and empathetically to employees.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the independent judgment required to interpret policies and collective agreements.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and security for employee compensation data.
