Summary

Chief Administrative Officer-Affordable Senior and Community Housing

To serve as the primary leader for the wellbeing and sustainability of MD of St. Paul Foundation’s operational, fiscal, strategic, and cultural direction.

Key Responsibilities

STRATEGIC FOCUS

  1. Organizational growth and ongoing viability.
  2. Seniors living, affordability, & housing advocacy.
  3. Lodge and independent living evolution.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • Housing, programs and services that meet the evolving needs of our seniors.
  • Staff growth and development.
  • Liaison with funders and community partners.
  • Effective governance processes with Board of Directors and municipal partners.
  • Financial literacy and oversight.
  • Human resources oversight.
  • Involvement with Senior Housing Bodies Alberta Public Housing Administrators of Alberta [APHAA], Alberta Seniors & Community Housing Association [ASCHA].

 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Progressive executive level leadership.
  • Experience with non-profit human services a benefit.
  • Relevant post-secondary education preferred.
  • Effective advocacy skills
  • Strong English written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Outgoing, flexible personality focused on relationship building.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle for occasional travel.
