The County of Vermilion River is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our safety-oriented team as a Heavy Equipment Operator in our Public Works Department. Reporting to the Roads Manager, this position is responsible for operating heavy equipment which may include trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, skid steers, mulchers, excavators, snow blowers and other pieces of equipment, always complying with safe work practices and procedures.
A competitive salary and comprehensive municipal benefits package are available. The successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal record check and drivers abstract.
