Register for an Alberta Electoral Boundaries Commission Public Meeting

The Alberta Electoral Boundaries Commission has released a schedule of public meetings in January to seek feedback on their interim report.

On October 27, 2025, the Alberta Electoral Boundaries Commission submitted their interim report on changes to Alberta’s electoral districts. The Commission is currently seeking public input on the interim report through written submissions, with a deadline of December 19, 2025. A recent RMA bulletin provided an overview of the submission process and key principles that members may consider to inform their submissions.

On November 24, 2025, the Commission released a schedule of in-person and virtual public meetings to be held throughout January 2026. The meeting dates and locations are as follows:

  • Calgary (in-person)
    • January 12, 9:00am – 12:30pm, 1:30pm – 4:30pm, 5:30pm – 8:30pm
    • January 13, 9:00am – 12:30pm, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
    • January 14, 9:00am – 12:30pm
  • Northern Alberta (virtual)
    • January 15, 9:00am – 12:30pm, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
  • South and Central Alberta (virtual)
    • January 15, 5:30pm – 8:30pm
    • January 16, 9:00am – 12:30pm, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
  • Edmonton (in-person)
    • January 19, 9:00am – 12:30pm, 1:30pm – 4:30pm, 5:30pm – 8:30pm
    • January 20, 9:00am – 12:30pm, 1:30pm – 4:30pm, 5:30pm – 8:30pm

In the coming weeks, RMA will provide members with an engagement guide providing an overview of the interim report and key messaging to inform participation.
