Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of RMA Insurance

Driven Through the Decades: 70 Years Strong

Meet the RMA Insurance Coverage Cruiser!

Seventy years ago, rural communities across our province relied on trust, resilience, and the strength of their neighbours. Roads were long, winters were harsh, and when challenges arose, people came together to support one another. It was in this spirit that RMA Insurance was founded—built on the promise of protecting rural municipal districts, counties, and nonprofits, ensuring that when the unexpected happened, communities could rebuild and move forward.

To celebrate our 70th anniversary, we wanted to do more than just look back—we wanted to bring our history to life. That’s why we’ve tracked down and restored a truck from 1955, the very year we began. It is a symbol of the era that shaped us.

This isn’t just any truck. It’s a workhorse, much like the people and organizations we’ve insured for generations. It’s seen dusty prairie roads, icy highways, and long days of hard work—just as our policyholders have. And just like us, it has stood the test of time.

Throughout the year, we’ll be taking this truck on the road, visiting the communities that have been at the heart of our journey. We’ll be hosting a photo challenge, inviting you to capture this piece of history in your own way—whether it’s parked in front of a century-old barn, alongside a bustling community event, or shining under a prairie sunset.

For 70 years, we’ve been driven by the same values: protection, reliability, and community. And just like this truck, we’re still running strong. Join us in celebrating the road we’ve traveled together and the road ahead.
