- Post-secondary diploma in a law enforcement related field, or a Grade 12 diploma supplemented with a minimum of 2 years of related law enforcement experience. Traffic enforcement experience along with prior experience with community and/or school based programs is an asset;
- Must meet all requirements for the Solicitor General’s CPO Level 1 appointment including successful completion of a Solicitor General approved physical test (i.e. P.A.R.E.). An acceptable Criminal Record Check that includes a Vulnerable Sector Check is required;
- Valid and current first aid and CPR certificates. Must possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license. Current Radar/Laser certification and completion of the Motor Transport Weights & Measures course are assets;
