Reports to: Manager of Vendor Relations
The Vendor Administration Manager is responsible for assisting with the development and administration of RFP’s, contract documents and vendor administration for RMA’s Business units. The Vendor Administration Manager will assist in vendor relationship from RFP’s, implementations, quarterly reviews, pricing controls, and partner association relationships.
The Vendor Administration Manager will assist in the operation and procurement of vendor relation activities. Within this responsibility will be working with RMA’s Client Relations Managers and Marketing Department, analyzing sales data and providing reports.
We are looking for an individual with the drive and desire to assist RMA along our path to become Canada’s largest public sector procurement agency. As a leader in procurement for the MASH Sector the successful candidate will understand procurement laws, processes and documents.
This is an entry level management position for candidates to advance in the organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
The Vendor Administration Manager will be responsible to assist in the implementation of RMA’s procurement and vendor relations activities. This will include but not be limited to:
Providing support to the Vendor Relations team
RFP writing, and evaluation
Vendor Contract negotiation and award
Ongoing vendor planning and strategy
Quarterly vendor reviews
Annual vendor contract reviews and events
Regional vendor expansion
Partner Association relationship management
Other duties as required
Completion of related post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration or marketing
Marketing or business development experience
Strong understanding of business and sales processes
Understanding of procurement laws and agreements
Requires high degree of initiative, professionalism and judgement
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proven track record of reaching marketing objectives
Ability to successfully communicate with multiple groups
Aptitude for providing customer support and direction to RMA members and supplies
Proven ability to create and facilitate presentations
A willingness to take on leadership roles
Strong time management skills
Ability to travel (clean drivers abstract)
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
