Key Responsibilities Include:
Parkland County has a Casual Shelterkeeper position available in our Enforcement Services department from April, 2021 to November, 2022. Reporting to the Enforcement Services Coordinator, the Shelterkeeper will provide maintenance of the shelter and provide general care of the impounded animals. The Shelterkeeper will assist in the impounding and release of the impounded animals, work with external agencies regarding status of impounded animals, provide administrative support, and transport animals as required. This position is also responsible for assisting at the front counter and answering phone calls. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as demonstrate effective conflict management and public relations skills.
