Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Communications or other related discipline. Certification or equivalent experience in project management, communications, data analytics or planning and development is required. MBA, CLGM or equivalent advanced university education in a related area, would be considered an asset. A minimum seven years of experience in municipal government, institution or public sector service; combined with a minimum of five years’ experience focused on managing complex issues and work assignments; and a minimum of three years’ of direct and progressively responsible experience in advocacy, government relations or policy analysis is also required.
The successful candidate must be willing to provide a current Criminal Records Check as part of the hiring process.
