The Town of Bon Accord is seeking a qualified Recreation and Community Services Manager, reporting directly to the CAO. This position is a key member of the management team and will be responsible for oversight of department staff, recreation facilities (parks & playgrounds, arena, sportsgrounds, and skateboard park), floral displays, Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), as well as development and delivery of community programs and events. Central to the role is the ability to exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion in all aspects of the work and to ensure the necessary liaison within Town departments, citizens, associations, business groups, outside agencies, and other government agencies as required.
The Town of Bon Accord offers a competitive salary depending on experience and qualifications plus an excellent benefit package. The successful applicant will be required to work a 37.5-hour work week, with some evenings/weekends.
