As the successful candidate you have the ability to work both in the field and in an office environment to collect, correlate and evaluate detailed data. You have knowledge of property survey systems, building construction methods and procedures, and relevant legislation relating to assessment. You enjoy working under pressure to meet deadlines and can adapt to shifting priorities. You have strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
Post-secondary diploma in property assessment or related field.
Four years previous assessment experience
Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta or Accredited Appraiser with the Appraisal Institute of Canada or working on attaining such.
