Key Responsibilities Include:
Parkland County has a permanent, full-time position available within the Road Maintenance & Drainage Services Department for a Project Technician – Stormwater. Under the general supervision of the Manager, Drainage & Aggregate Resources, the Project Technician -Stormwater will provide technical and project management support for the operation and maintenance of the County’s overland/engineered stormwater systems. This position is responsible for providing ongoing technical evaluations, inspections, monitoring, reporting, record keeping, planning, design, review, approvals, procurement and field oversight for all County stormwater infrastructure. This position will also provide assistance with managing the annual aggregate production program and support to the Road Maintenance & Drainage department and provide support in field data collection, reporting preparation, infrastructure rehabilitation and replacement project management, coordination of internal work programs, and other similar duties as needed.
