Now Hiring Process Analyst - Supply Chain Management
The City of Medicine Hat Supply Chain Management (SCM) is looking for a motivated individual to join their team as a Process Analyst to provide planning, development and support for the end-to-end SCM process within the corporate enterprise resource system (ERP). Reporting to the Manager and working closely with IT, business departments and end users, this position will perform requirements gathering, system and process testing and training.

You have strong analytical skills and communication skills with the ability to influence decisions through fact-based analysis and recommendations. You have experience documenting workflow processes and providing improvement recommendations as they relate to business systems. You have sound decision-making capabilities, an understanding of change management processes and thorough working knowledge of computer applications. Key Responsibilities Include:
Acts as the lead in the development, documentation and improvement of the Supply Chain Management business process and related procedures, forms and templates to maximize operational efficiencies while minimizing organizational risks.
Liaises with operational users of the ERP system in order to plan, analyze, test, support and manage change to improve the end-to-end Supply Chain Management related business processes and enable operations to achieve their goals.
Participates in the continuous improvement, planning, analysis, testing, support, change management and coordination of the Supply Chain Management related activities, as they pertain to end-to-end business processes.
In conjunction with the Information and Computer Service staff, maintains and ensures proper security roles are assigned to users within Supply Chain Management processes.
Provides solutions to complex problems within Supply Chain Management.
Change management of changes and improvements of the end-to-end business process.
Prepares and maintains reference and training material and delivers ongoing training workshops.
Designs, configures, builds browsers and reports for operational and corporate strategic analysis, develops Key Performance Indicators and related reporting dashboard.
Performs other duties as required.
Successful completion of a two (2) year diploma from a recognized post-secondary or technical institution in Business Administration or Information Technology or related field.
Three (3) years' relevant experience in a process analyst role focused on supporting ERP and Supply Chain Management solutions.
Certification or ability to become certified as a LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt.
An equivalent combination of management approved training and experience may be considered
