Key Responsibilities Include:
While reporting to the Manager, Recreation Services, this position is responsible for researching, developing, reviewing and updating policies, procedures, and practices with the Aquatic Services business unit. Updates focused on aquatic operations, aquatic programs, aquatic bookings and general / staff administration, but may involve work in other areas to ensure alignment with corporate, department and related-business unit practices. This position relies on a combination of experience and education to provide technical guidance and policy development to a variety of internal client groups, but also serves to fulfill internal and external risk management functions due to the nature of the policies, procedures and practices being developed.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field such as recreation or business, with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an aquatic management or supervisory role which brings a thorough knowledge of aquatic facilities, operations, programming, staffing as well as general municipal services. Necessary experience, knowledge and skills through a combination of formal education, specialized aquatic certifications, and field experience within policy development, risk management processes and occupational health and safety is preferred. A strong aptitude for MSOffice applications is required. The successful candidate must be willing to provide a current Criminal Records Check as part of the hiring process.

Salary Range: $60,824.40 - $76,076.00 /annum
