Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Services, this role is responsible for overseeing land use regulation, development processes, and economic development initiatives, all while promoting community growth and cohesion. With frequent interactions with residents, developers, businesses, and Council, the Planning Manager plays a vital role in shaping the future of our municipality.
This position offers the opportunity to develop and implement long-term plans, policies, and frameworks, ensuring that land use processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the Town’s vision for sustainable growth. You will work closely with stakeholders to simplify processes, reduce development barriers, and encourage economic investment, all while preserving the community’s character and appeal. With a focus on collaboration and innovation, the Planning Manager will ensure high service standards, research emerging trends, and foster transparency and engagement in every interaction.

What do we offer?
Compensation
The wage range for this position is $92,400, to $114,700, per year, however, this is negotiable for the right candidate. Candidate placement within the range during the first six months on the job is dependent on experience and available budget.
