Completion of a post-secondary office administration certificate or diploma program with a minimum of four (4) years office administration experience. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
Familiarity with the safety codes permit and inspection process.
Ability to successfully communicate (verbally and in writing) with the public and outside agencies.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Be an active, positive contributor in a team environment.
Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and customer services skills.
High degree of accuracy with Microsoft Office applications and data entry software.
Acceptable Criminal Records Check.
Experience within a local government environment is considered an asset.
