Key Responsibilities Include:
Parkland County has a temporary, full-time position available within the Planning & Development Services Department for a Planning & Development Clerk working until approximately May 2022. The Planning & Development Clerk provides administrative and clerical support services to the Director, Planning & Development Services and the Planning & Development Department. This position will be responsible for department’s website maintenance, scheduling Safety Codes inspections and responding to public inquires.
A High School Diploma or equivalent supplemented with post-secondary administrative training is required.
A minimum of two years office administrative experience is required.
Strong writing and organizational skills.
Superior interpersonal skills in dealing effectively with the general public is required.
Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work within tight deadlines with consistent heave workloads is required.
Well-developed computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook is required.
Possession of a valid Alberta driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Competition Number: 21-26
Rate of Pay: $40,172 to $50,215 per annum.
Hours of Work: 7 hours/day; 35 hours/week
