Key Responsibilities Include:
Parkland County has a casual Payroll Clerk position available within the Employee Services Department. Under the general supervision of the Manager, Talent & Total Rewards, the Payroll Clerk is responsible for all duties relating to payroll including master file maintenance, input, edits, and final preparation of information necessary to complete the payroll. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with benefits administration and completing various reports or special projects. Must be analytical, with good attention to detail, possess numerical accuracy and data entry skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required with exceptional Excel skills. Must be adept in learning financial/payroll software. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in Ceridian Dayforce and/or Dynamics 365.
