Foothills County encompasses a diverse rural landscape covering approximately 3,600 square kilometres located in the foothills of southern Alberta. Foothills County is inviting applications for a permanent part-time Payroll Clerk.
Key Responsibilities Include:
The role of the Payroll Clerk is to assist the Payroll Coordinator with all aspects of the County’s bi-monthly payroll and all duties related to this process. This position will also assist with the administration of the County’s benefit and pension programs.
The successful candidate must demonstrate above average organizational and time management skills, interpersonal skills, and to be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of payroll legislation and regulations and the ability to work independently. The candidate must also be proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
