- Grade 12 (or GED equivalent), supplemented by a Parts Technician Certificate valid in the province of Alberta. A combination of education and experience will be considered
- Experience in ordering and issuing parts for heavy duty, automotive, and agriculture equipment and knowledge of mechanical principles and the operating and repair characteristics of a large variety of vehicles. Ability to understand the uses of various parts and to suggest alternative or interchangeable parts to mechanics.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Physical capabilities to perform job duties - required lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively using courtesy, tact and discretion and use good judgement
- This is a designated safety sensitive position and mandatory pre-employment drug testing will be conducted on newly hired employees
- Applicants with an Alberta or recognized trade certificate in one of the following trades are encouraged to apply: Warehousing Basic or Warehousing Intermediate
- Ability to operate electronic inventory and work order programs, Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
- Supervisory experience an asset
