Requirements:
This position requires a diploma (preferred degree) in community development or recreation with a focus on park, trail, and open space management. Project Management Certification and knowledge of the Municipal Government Act would be considered an asset. Experience in budget management and community outreach. Efficient in navigating databases and inventory software with strong knowledge of all Microsoft office Programs.
Excellent organizational and written communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills to navigate through difficult issues with opposing views is essential.
