The ideal candidate for this position will have a High School Diploma or equivalent combined with a minimum of 2 years direct experience in facility operations and maintenance. CPSI Playground Inspector certification, or the ability to obtain, is required. A strong understanding and ability to use hand and power construction tools combined with a working knowledge of HVACr and BMS systems will aid in your success in this role. Successful candidates will have the ability to operate heavy, medium, and light equipment and will have general surveying and landscaping knowledge. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is essential. A Building Operator Certification would be considered an asset, as would an Alberta Class 3 driver’s license with Air Brake (Q) endorsement.
In accordance with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 955 Collective Agreement, this position will work a 40-hour work week and offers an hourly wage rate of $30.02 - $32.80 (plus an additional premium based on certification).
