Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalent
• Post-secondary training in Business Administration, Commerce or Administrative Assistant training supplemented with progressive supervisory experience. Equivalencies will be considered
• Experience and knowledge of the Municipal Government Act would be beneficial
• First rate communication skills: written and verbal skills, strong public relation skills, organization abilities and proven attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and initiative. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
• Computer competence is essential (MS Suite)
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
• Local Government Certificate would be an asset
• Upon commencement, the successful candidate will provide a Criminal Records Check

Salary Range: • Annual Salary starting at $49,504 - $61,362 depending upon experience and education
