Parkland County has an opportunity for a
permanent, full-time Municipal Projects Coordinator in the Planning & Development Services department. Reporting to the Manager, Current & Long Range Planning, this position will be responsible for supporting various municipal planning projects and initiatives throughout the Planning & Development Services Department, as well as corporate level projects as directed by the County’s Chief Administrative Officer. The duties of this position will include conducting research and municipal scans for bylaw and policy amendments, coordinating engagement activities, participating in the procurement and contracting process. This position will be responsible for providing project management support for major projects, while coordinating with affected groups both internal and external to the department. The successful candidate must possess strong communication, organization and research skills with the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the required stakeholders.
The total rewards package for this position includes:
A starting annual salary of $55,080 - $68,850 based on a 35-hour work week and option to join the Earned Day Off Program.
