Under the general direction of the Manager of Member Services, the Member Service Representative provides functional support to RMA Insurance. The MSR role will also be responsible for the provision of insurance services to members and will be responsible for service of various participants of the RMA Insurance programs.
The Member Services Representative will have access to highly confidential member and association information, and it is expected and required information be held in the strictest confidence.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Provides Insurance coverage assistance to RMA Insurance Members and is responsible for clerical duties relating to incoming telephone and written correspondence.
Other duties as may be required from time to time which may include:
Complete Member Transactions
Participate in member meetings
Assist in program report generation
Assists in Claims reporting
Invoicing, data entry and filing
Performs annual renewal process for various insurance policies
Provide quotes for new and existing members
Collection of Accounts Receivable and Statement Distribution for MSR clients
Assist at Spring & Fall Conventions as well as RiskPro
Licensed as an Insurance Agent in Alberta (General Level 1 required, working towards Level 2)
Preferred Accident & Sickness License
Proficient with Word, Outlook and Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to excel in a team environment
A valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License
On-going professional development training to maintain license requirements and to improve the general operations of the agency

This position will directly assist the Manager of Member Services and work together with other MSRs, and work in conjunction with Risk Advisors as well as marketing staff.
This is an in-office position, located at Nisku head office
