EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Post-Secondary education in Marketing, Advertising, Tourism/Hospitality, Brand Management, Digital media or Communications
- 1-3 years experience supporting Marketing and Social Media campaigns, or Communications for an organization
- Strong understanding of how to structure communications and deliver messaging in a positive manner
- A keen eye for detail, and proficiency with the written word
- Ability to create communications under tight timelines and in emergent scenarios
- A passion for communications and helping drive culture both internally and externally.
- Hands on experience with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, Social Media Platforms, Digital Marketing, Website Management
- Confident communicator and public speaker
- Strong copywriting skills and design skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and to tight deadlines
- Bondable, Able to submit to the Criminal Records Check
- Valid Alberta Class 5 – Driver's License (or equivalent)
Employment Category: Full-Time Temporary (up to 18 months)
Hours per Week: 37.5 hours – Monday to Friday – some early morning, evening and weekend work is required depending on demands.
Pay Scale: Based on CUPE 4604 – Program Coordinator 1 – 21.35/hour to 24.97/hour
Benefits: As per the Town’s HR Policy and CUPE 4604 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
