Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in related area (Social Work, Human Ecology, Social Planning). Bachelor of Arts with appropriate research experience will be considered; Masters level is an asset. Education/courses in Emergency Social Services is required. Courses for evaluation from related discipline would be preferred. A minimum of five years’ research experience, outcome measurement, supervisory experience, understanding of community development principles, budget management, Emergency Social Services and facilitation skills are required for someone to perform this job competently. This role requires strong problem solving and decision-making skills as it relates to supporting staff providing one-on-one support to individuals, parents/guardians and children. Knowledge of mental health and addictions and trauma informed practice principles would be an asset. Successful completion of a Child Welfare Check and Criminal Record Check - Vulnerable Sector are required.

Salary Range: $100,737.00 - $125,925.80
